Alkaliza, I’m so very glad you found the combo of health benefits. I’m a Iodine fan as well. Matter of fact that’s where I first started out. Then oil pulling and recently researching MMS. Most of us are dehydrated and do not realize the importance of a high quality ”sea salt” that works hand in hand with our hydration. I know you have now read Dr Batmanghelidj’s book Your Body’s Many Cries for Water but I want to encourage anyone reading this post to take the time and read that book for themselves – it’s priceless! Hello Desperadonyc5 I have used Bentonite clay with the idea of removing mercury and any other toxic metal but didn’t have any visual cues from the start. I have had my mercury filling removed and after doing so felt that maybe mercury was still in my system and maybe in my gums which I couldn’t see. Hello Alkaliza, I believe in the benefits of flaxseed oil but had to stop using it personally. I had/have a choking problem associated with my thyroid. I had felt like it was resolved or resolving with my iodine therapy and had forgotten that flax was bad for my thyroid. So I thought, ”I should pull with flaxseed oil to increase my omega 3 oils,” but then my choking problem came back which caused me to suddenly remember flax is a goitrogen. Sippone, Yes, I would lean towards the idea if it being an enhancement if I floss prior to OP. If not done before oil pulling, I feel like OP (at least for me) accomplishes the removal of the debris that flossing would have done plus some of the normal oil pulling benefits. Maybe not as much benefit as if I had gotten the debris out of the way first. (Just not sure!) So as you can tell, I’m on the fence about it but feel like I get acceptable benefits either way. I often times will not floss before I oil pull but find that the oil pulling acts like a floss. While oil pulling I’ll feel bits and pieces come out from between my teeth and float around in the oil. I would still want to floss before oil pulling especially if it’s at night before going to bed but don’t feel that I really have to do so. Sincerely, CuresWanted   [End]

My answer would be yes. It worked for me. I had an abscess and after continued oil pulling haven’t had it come back. And even when I didn’t oil pull for weeks it didn’t come back. Wow, I’ve never heard this one before with oil pulling. My first thought after reading your post was ... ”Wow, she must be severely dehydrated.” Do you drink just plain water? Coffee, teas and soft drinks do not count because they dehydrate you. It required more water to break down those drinks then what’s in the product ... hence the dehydrating effect. I would highly recommend you read ”Your Body’s Many Cries for Water” by Dr F. Batmanghelidj. In his book he talks about water & salt being the cure for asthma. In reading about iodine/iodide supplementation I kept seeing over and over that if detox symptoms were strong to do a coffee enema and/or salt water flush. Because of those suggestions I was looking up enemas and will also look up salt water flush as well. So what then is your recommendation with detox symptoms from Iodine/Iodide supplementation? Did you have any detox symptoms and what did you do if yes? I suppose that I will have detox symptoms because I believe I have quite a bit of bromide (spelling?) among other toxins.
