Regarding Iodine content - Lugols as well as Iodoral contain Iodine and iodide, 2 drops of 5% Lugols is 12.5mg of iodine/iodide just as the 12.5mg iodoral tablet.
Possibly the quantity mentioned on the bottle is referring to the amount of elemental iodine?
