I'm talking at least a gram of Iodide to treat colitis. You can only get micrograms in salt. But unrefined salt is useful to clear the kidneys in the case of side effect from too much bromide displacement, which can happen with Iodine or Iodide use, and getting excess bromide out is a good thing
