Re: Jock Itch That Won't Go Away!

Jock itch and other vegetable parasites/fungi can be indicative of a system wide candida infection. One sure fire way to get rid of it is to use Nutiva organic virgin coconut oil. Take 4-6 tablespoons a day either by cooking with it or just eating it (it tastes incredible!). Then, each night apply a thin layer to the affected area. Put on a pair of boxers to keep the oil from rubbing off. Then, wash in the shower with ONLY DR Bronners soaps. They are organic and truly natural and will not strip the protective acid mantle from the skin. While still damp from the shower, massage a thin layer of coconut oil into the affected area and even over your entire body if you want. You will be amazed at the results.
Why coconut oil? This wonderful oil is made up of medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs) that have remarkable healing qualitites, especially when used topically. These MCFAs, when broken down either by stomach acids, salivary enzymes or beneficial bacteria on the skin, are converted to free fatty acids that destroy harmful bacteria, parasites, fungi and even viruses. Any pathogen with a lipid coated cell wall has no chance against coconut oil. They simple dissolve and die as soon as they contact the free fatty acids.
Why Nutiva? It's the purest and best I've found. Spectrum is another good one as well as tropical treat? Can't remember the name exactly. Just get virgin, organic UNREFINED coconut oil. You may also want to consider using a good probiotic like Jarro-Dophilus to strengthen your immune system and kick out the candida infection.
Try that and keep us posted!
