Re: Flagyl cured my symptoms??

I was diagnosed with UC when I was 25 in 1971. I was allergic to sulfa, so at that time, steroids were the only option. I took heavy steroids and suffered through 20 years of severe symptoms and heavy bleeding. I was given Flagyl after I got a severe infection after a colonoscopy. Flagyl "cured" my UC. Whether my diagnosis was incorrect, I don't know. I do know that I am now 72 and my UC symptoms have not returned. Tweet
