After brushing/rubbing (pictures)

I brushed my lips gently last night, and they were left pretty nice. White layer still there, but excess on top gone. I put on a thick layer of lip balm and went to sleep.

When I woke up, I brushed my teeth, and gently rubbed away dead skin. Like I said before, normally, after rubbing away dead skin, all that was left on the EC area was rawness. Now, you can see the white "skin" remaining on the lips in the top picture. It doesn't come off ever (good sign). Bottom photo shows lips after a few minutes (dry). They feel nice and soft, almost like real lips (though I don't know what real lips feel like, not yet anyway). Fingers crossed!
