It sounds like you were involved with a narcissist or Narcissistic Personality Disorder. A NPD can be in therapy for years and the therapist will never notice it. They are sneaky, they lie and will do all they can to torment you. The best way to deal with a NPD is step away. Yes, she will ruin the kids, but judges believe the MPDs before they will listen to normal people.
