Re: Airola Paavo was a quack

I am trying fasting now because of springtime allergies and after 24 hours I have noticed a huge improvement in symptoms (eyes, nose, throat, lungs). My father fasted during peak allergy season a few years in a row, and with good results, and eventually the allergies never came back. His were bad. He would sneeze so much and so suddenly that snot would fly everywhere and I remember my gag reflex being triggered. So fasting is worth a shot for me. The longest he went was 7 days. I have no intention of doing that. As for the critique offered by Darlene Forester, it seems a little less academic, for a PHD, and a little more off handed. I don't think she knows what she is talking about, or even cares. I am suspicious of her because she is an Associate Professor Emerita at the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture and Kentucky is the biggest producer of cattle east of the Mississpi. UK is a land grant school and by design, somewhat wrapped up in the promotion of the state's industry. All of the other internet negativity I have found so far, about Dr. Airola, is loaded with conjecture, and all of it hinges on the fact that he had a fatal stroke at 64, which means nothing without context.
