Taking Magnesium and D together

Jack Kruse's site recommends taking Magnesium before bed and D in the morning because they are said to interfere with each other's absorption. Carolyn Dean says Magnesium is required for D's metabolism, and that the more D you take the more Magnesium you need to take (and she recommends taking Mg in the morning and late afternoon)

Anyway, I had been taking Magnesium at night and D3 in the morning before I started the Iodine Protocol. And I take the bulk of the Iodine in the morning as well. So I would go a long time during the day without Magnesium. I believe this caused me to be messed up for hours: lightheaded and dizzy. As soon as I started taking Magnesium in the morning before and at the same time with Iodine, the condition improved.

Now when should I take D3 then? in the morning as well? The lit I've been reading have conflicting info about whether D interferes with Mg absorption or not, some say inconclusive, some says hinders, some says improves.

How have you been taking your Vitamin D?
