I thought I read somewhere that you're not supposed to take Iodine after 2pm so I was taking all of my dosages in the morning. About 6pm today I was feeling pretty drained and fingers starting to feel cold so I figured what the hell, and took 4 drops, felt better immediately... then took 2 more drops before my workout at 9pm. Felt even better.
It seems all those mgs in the morning didn't serve me at 6pm and taking 100mg all at once caused me to feel funny for a while. May be there is an optimal dosage scheme like may be 50mg in the morning then 10mg every 2 or 3 hours afterward.
The thing that had prevented me from spreading it out like that is the Vitamin C which should be spread out too but has to be 2 hours after the last Iodine dosage. And I couldn't take more than 1000mg of C in an hour without bowel problems. I think if I could learn to adapt my body to take all 2000-3000 mg right before bed without problem then I could spread out the Iodine to pick myself up during the day.
Or better still, use Iodoral so I can take it at work and also spread the C out without fear of interference... and save the Lugol's bottle for emergencies and nut painting :)
