Re: Should I get an ultrasound?

Thanks. I started seeing this doc about 7 months ago. He said Id only need about 50mg MAX of Iodine a day. I didn't know what I know now, and clearly I need more than that. I'm not blindly trusting my doctor..been there done that and it got me no where. All my dosing and supplements I have figured out on my own and through this amazing forum. I also do not want to base my treatment off tests, I also think it's best to go by how you feel. I just wondered if an ultrasound would tell me anything I don't already know at this point, but I understand now it seems like an expensive pointless thing to do. Let's say I do have cancer..I wouldn't do chemo, radiation etc. anyway. I just lost my father to cancer a few months ago, happened very sudden-and we are all convinced it was from the chemo-not the actual cancer. Both my sisters did home births too..so trust me I'm right there with you. I've had this goiter my whole life and NO DOCTOR has ever suggested iodine. I have no choice but to be my own healer at this point, and now I'm seeing that might be the best thing.
Thanks for your time/advice.
