My goiter appeared two years into Iodine supplementation and has lingered a year and a half so far.

Ultrasound showed 'nodules' and swelling. Could tell that by looking in the mirror. I was told I'd need a nuclear scan or at least a needle biopsy to tell if the nodules were 'hot'.
