Re: the new medicine

I found this out after becoming seriously ill on a fruit diet and have 2 shock episodes due to low blood pressure. My blood histamine was lethally high driving down my BP and increased my heart beat to chronically high levels. My anxiety was out of control.

ripe fruits are easy to digest as well, but we see what happens psychologically to people who choose to only eat fruit. the same thing happened to me when i tried to eat only fruit. it only takes 3-4 days before i become very psychologically unstable.

This is what I've been suspecting for a while now. The people with the most gripes towards me and who come off as somewhat anti-fruit are the ones who failed on a plant or fruit-based diet because they most likely were under-eating and instead of taking responsibility for their mistakes, they blame the diets instead and get real hostile towards people recommending what they think failed them. It all makes sense now.

"A fruit only diet is extreme."

I agree, that's why I never preach one for long-term, either does Dr. Graham. Sometimes a mono-fruit feast is recommended, like a banana island, to help correct certain health conditions, but it is only a very short and temporary recommendation for about 1-3 weeks.

"It's not a 'fail safe' type of diet at all."

Especially when people like you two under-ate on them.
