Hi there trimnut2,no the Wii scale is not bung and my clothing didnt differ in weight-I re-weighed a couple of times to check lol ...This is water weight I know,just surprised at how much fluid I was retaining to be honest :)It seems what you are saying is drinking more water and taking some alkalising minerals may help,thanks for that..as for my previous diet-stock standard Aussie fare-usually meat inclusive meals,and a love of potatoes and chocolate...Ive been eating vegetarian to prepare ,raw vegie isnt really an option,as it is cold here right now,and I have a family I cook for too.I simply cant afford to prepare different food for myself,but lucky my family is ok with the vegetarian thing.But a few weeks of prep Im afraid wont be enough to stop gout from popping up.Thank you for your advice,I feel confident from what you say that the gout will be helped by fasting ultimately.I definiteley have abused food by using it as a comfort,and I want that to change for good and clean up my act and maybe encourage my family in the same direction :) Feeling very positive thinking of a new healthier life.
