FYI,

That “power” transformer gives the appearance of a high voltage flyback transformer that was used in small B&W TV’s or monitors. Most of them could develop as much as 10-12,000 volts. Depending on the input voltage, it could run much less. I doubt that they had one special made, but rather used something that was “off the shelf”.
