Wow, I've never heard this one before with oil pulling. My first thought after reading your post was ... "Wow, she must be severely dehydrated."
Do you drink just plain water? Coffee, teas and soft drinks do not count because they dehydrate you. It required more water to break down those drinks then what's in the product ... hence the dehydrating effect.
I would highly recommend you read "Your Body's Many Cries for Water" by Dr F. Batmanghelidj. In his book he talks about water & salt being the cure for asthma. I do not have asthma myself but happened to find out a young friend has asthma shortly after I read his ABC of Asthma, Allergies & Lupus book. So as he was beginning to have an attach I told him to drink the two glasses of water and then gave him a pinch of salt like Dr Batman suggested and his attach ended immediately. I was so thrilled to see the truth of the info right in front of my eyes.
Anyway, I just wanted to mention that because with what you describe by first inclination is that you’re not getting enough "pure water" and/or "good Sea Salt " regularly.
Sorry for such a long message. I hope you find this helpful.
