Hi, I would email the chemist and ask them if their Iodine solution is standard lugols, if they are a compounding chemist,(looks like they are from their website), then they will be able to give you the breakdown of their solution, to be Lugols solution it should be 10%KI, 5% I2, in 100ml water. It is important to know what you are getting. The price from the chemist site seem about right too.

J Crows is a reliable source if you can't get a straight answer from sites in the UK.

I wouldn't bother with the ebay shop as their answer is not good enough.

If there is anyone on the forum from the UK, reading this, could you please help out with a place to get reliable Lugols from.
