Often life's situations can be stressful. It
can be bad stress or good stress depending on
the situation. Still, sometimes our body will
react in a way which is discomforting. I feel
that *healing* is a good example of a good
stressor. You are doing good things for your
body, but on the other hand, you are leaving
your comfort zone and dealing with the consequence
of changing your lifestyle to accommodate these
shifts on all levels, physically, emotionally,
and spiritually. For me, in letting go of my
habits which no longer said YES to me, it felt
like losing a part of me. There have been times
in my own healing walk when I felt overwhelmed
and not exactly fearful as much as resigned to
A product I have found which worked phenomenally
for me is St. John's Wort. They have used it for
decades if not longer in Europe but here in the
states it is pushed out of the way for stronger
pharmaceuticals. I use a tincture and it did take
a few weeks to kick in well but have been very
happy with it. I only use it for as long as I feel
blue too and there are no withdrawal symptoms.
I have also given bottles to friends who were
depressed and they have also had good results.
You may consider giving it a try. Just be diligent
in taking it~! Saying YES to YOU when you need it
most is a challenge worth meeting~~!
Also, something as simple as an affirmation can
help retrain and entrain your mind to think about
a situation differently and so your will find your
reaction shifts into a proactive mode rather than
a reactive mode.
My favorite affirmation..well one of them...is
"I RELEASE ALL FEAR".
Say this affirmation everyday whenever you bring
your mind to it and I guarantee at the end of a
month, you will feel much more empowered to handle
