Which drugs are over-the-counter? Can someone tell me which drugs are buyable in the US without ever seeing a doctor or even a vet?
So far I know:
Fenbendazole
Praziquantel
Triclabendazole

This is a reply to # 1,478,002From what I hear PinX is somewhat toxic and probably should be avoided. Vermox can be obtained on the web, I got mine from New Zealand.

I bought Vermox and Albendazole online. I've got a keyword 'VERM2GET'.You can Google it to find out exactly how to get them w/out Rx. Hope this helps.

This is a reply to # 1,478,025Has anyone tried Albenza? I'm on day 2 and haven't felt much of a change. I was told to take 1 pill twice a day (400mg) for 5 days, but I've read other studies online and other members post that they were given this medication for 28 days twice a day. Also, has anyone had any success with this drug?
I also read that taking vermox after the Albenza can produce positive results? Does anyone know if this is true? Any success stories...Please.
Thank you for any help, I'm desperate and don't know what other options I have.

This is a reply to # 1,481,291We did the 28 days on then 12 days off for 3 runs with albendazole. Taking for only a few days sounds like a joke to me, tho. We will do it again too. Sure calmed down the scattering. We were going after toxocara. Itw as one of the better thigs we did. Got albendazole from India

The pharmacist said it wasn't very common, but I was worried about taking it for 28 days. I did a round of 7 days and I have to say, I felt better after those 7 days than I have with all of herbs I've taken in the past four months.
However, after being off Albenza for 4 or 5 days, the symptoms have returned - itching is bad again. I just started another round today and have been very dizzy, so I'm a little nervous about the 28 day dose. Have you're symptoms returned - how are you feeling? After trying so many things, I was really hoping Albenza would do the job.
The pharmacist said I shouldn't take herbs while on Albenza or for a few days after finishing my dose as this could affect the results I get from Albenza. Did you take herbs while on Albenza? sorry for all of the questions, I'm sure you can gather that I'm desperate and trying cure myself of parasites.

I just looked back to this thread today. You ask:

NO. Only because initially it was pissing them off, and they were running on the big herb doses. I wanted them to get complacent and back in the GI then in for the kill. After albenza, I had no noticeable scattering, so I was free to take herbs in big doses, Miracle-Mineral-Supplement if I wanted, etc. I also have just now been taking prazi again, and am feeling good with it (albenza does not address tapeworms/flukes). I probably should do an albenza series again just to be sure at some point.
I had no hair issues that I noticed, and also, if I had albenza and prazi at the same time (I used them up then got the other) I would definitely do both. Keep up Liver Flushes if you are killing stuff outside of the GI, though.

This is a reply to # 1,481,291Lisa... After 3 wks on Albenza lost all hair, totally bald, but pinworms loomed on. Those bastards are difficult to eliminate. Have tried garlic, water fasting, fresh squeezed lemon juice distilled water w/ Sea Salt , DE, herbal parasite cleanse, liver/kidney/eye herbal tea, herbal laxative, Vermox, Pin-X and Reese's Pinworm Medicine. I started out weighing 120 lbs and 5'8". So far I've only lost weight that I didn't need to lose. I am down to 105 lbs. sometimes as low as 95. I wish I could find something that works.
