Psyche & The Elements by Chef JeM .....

There is so much more to Earth, Air, Water and Fire than meets the eye!

Different traditions have variations in their thinking regarding the elements, the Chinese with five, Astrology with four, etc. I don't have a final conclusion other than it is obvious to me that we have at least four elements: Earth, Air, Water and Fire and not necessarily in that order. (In the order of creation it may be Fire, Water, Earth and Air!) In any case I've recently come to realize that the elements exist on more levels than just the physical including the level of our psyche. I am inspired to start this blog post with the intention to develop an introduction to the elements as they relate to our Psyche & Health.

I'm inspired to begin with water. Every morning after I brush my teeth I usually drink two mouthfuls of purified water and as I do this I direct my love and gratitude to the water. I hold the water in my mouth for a few moments to fully connect with it as a life-giving substance that I am taking into my body for both nourishment and for cleansing. I have been loving and thanking water for some time since my introduction to Dr. Emoto and his work of messages with water.

"Take the chemical formula of water, H2 O. The O is oxygen, but I see it as love. The H is hydrogen but I see it as gratitude. So one part of love and two parts of gratitude, this is the real meaning of water in my opinion. So when the words love and gratitude are shown to water, it is the most happy. There is resonance; ‘yes that’s right, that’s right’, it’s saying and makes a beautiful crystal. So why is it one part to two? Why is the giving part one and the receiving part two? The reason this makes a good balance is because if it was just one part to two, then things would not progress. When love is given once and gratitude is received twice, the energy continues on and on. For this reason I believe H2 O is the chemical formula for water.[1]

When I'm in a therapeutic relationship with an individual (needing the kind of therapeutic support I can give) I can work with people who are either under doctor's orders or who are following their own self-healing "program". In either case I often find that there is a need for nutrition therapy and nutrition education both of which I love doing! My approach to nutrition is always to work with the highest quality real food, properly prepared and made as delicious as possible according to the individual's taste and preferences. This is my foundation for "food as medicine" and it gets personalized according to the individual and what they are working with. My "bibles" are Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon[2] and The Fourfold Path to Healing by Dr. Tom Cowan.[3]

"The Elements" are important references for both "Psyche & Health" and especially in healing. In addition to the various presentations of the elements by "different traditions" we also have the clairvoyance of Rudolf Steiner.

"Steiner taught that the human being has four 'bodies' or spheres of activity, and that human beings enjoy good health when these four spheres are in harmony or balance. These four interlocking bodies are:

(1) the Physical Body, (2) the Life-Force Body, (3) the Emotional Body and (4) the Mental Body.

They correspond to the four 'kingdoms' and the four 'elements' of the medievalists as follows:

1. Physical Body - Mineral Kingdom - Earth Element
2. Life-Force Body - Plant Kingdom - Water Element
3. Emotional Body - Animal Kingdom - Air Element
4. Mental Body - Human Kingdom - Warmth Element

"...if water washes us on the physical plane, on the spiritual plane it has exactly the same properties."[4]

There is a corresponding principal between the washing of our physical body and that of our spiritual body both of which can also have a correspondence to our psyche. I had a spontaneous introduction to this during a spiritual emergency in 1970. (There also are scriptural references to this in the book of Revelation.)

" water flow, and listen to it. It does not matter whether it is a spring, a stream, or a waterfall – running water frees up the solar plexus and releases the dark and disharmonious elements disturbing it. Because running water symbolises the perpetual renewal of life, by watching it, it has an influence on you."[5]

October 21, 2017 - AcuPresence

What a wonderful day today is with several introductions to a new medicine known as AcuPresence![6]
I now have an additional fifty-two pages of reading that I've just received from a few free samples available at this linked website and I am so looking forward to it!

"AcuPresence® is a transformative self-healing art based on the tradition of Classical Acupuncture and the universal principle that everything is vibration. All pain and illness are seen as a direct manifestation of dense or lowered vibration in the energy system of the body. When you invoke and hold a higher frequency in your consciousness and body, you heal. AcuPresence shows you how. As an alternative to the needles used in acupuncture, AcuPresence works by attuning to the frequency of your acupuncture points."[8]

The following may be of interest to Individuals seeking resolution of shock conflicts, hanging conflicts or the like:
