Laid low by dis-ease...Back to day one of my sadhana (sort of)
back on track with happy, healthy and holy yoga

Wow this weekend was pretty challenging. I believe at the heart of my dis-ease is giving away my pet chickens. There was really no reason for me to have a temp other than fighting off the flu my coworkers are bringing to work. I've started working on my positive thinking, law of attraction-type stuff and I'm becoming aware of how I allow negative things in my life to affect my body. I think that I will be fine when the chickens leave :( Right now I don't have enough spiritual strength to stand up to this challenge.
Most of all I feel sorry for the turkeys esp. the tom turkey who now tramples the fence to come over to me for his food.
This morning I had energy to get up early so I did. I'm trying to pace myself and burn through the newfound energy of healing. I did the kundalini yoga dvd but not my whole wake up morning routine which consists of:
1) splashing water on my face
2) meticulous scraping of the my tongue and flossing then brushing with bronner soap
3) stretching and oiling myself down with almond oil then hopping into the shower for my cold shower dance
I do other stuff like clean the litter boxes,etc. but this morning I truly took it easy even during yoga. Later I'm going to be the floor portion of bikram's beginning yoga audio tape.
Got two good books Kundalini Yoga Sadhana Guidelines and Kundalini Yoga for Youth and Joy.
And finally this week is a rawfood week as raw as I dare to be. Gotta release the spare tire :D
