| June 11th was my first anniversary. Hanging in there... Marriage isn't as easy as it looks. It take work and sacrifice.

Yes, you are right...marriage to be successful is a comprimise on both parties (when the need arises). I'm coming up on #24 in March. There's been ups and downs, but you must remember during the down turns...there's always an up just around the corner.
If my wife and I have a heated argument, sometimes we will back off for a day or two, then look at the situation again. Sometimes the head will clear and a comprimise to the situation can be worked out...
Hang in there, you will have many happy years ahead of you!!!

Yes, marriage (and cohabitating partnerships) do take work. Been there. You have my empathy and also a hearty congratulations for achieving the one year mark!!
