Sleeping wedges can be used to treat a variety of medical issues.
Obstructive sleep apnea is the most common form of apnea. It may be hindering your sleep, causing you to wake up choking or gasping. Some other symptoms include morning headaches, loud snoring, high blood pressure and night sweats.
Whatever the case a sleeping wedge can be very helpful. When sleeping in a supine position gravity may cause the lungs and airways to collapse, and this is what might be causing your sleep apnea. Sleeping wedges may also be used to alleviate back pain and improve blood circulation. For more info about wedge pillows, you may want to check out my blog post.
For more severe cases do not hesitate to contact your doctor immediately as there are many other options to treat your sleep apnea.
