Symptoms, prevention, causes, and information on computer fatigue and related eye problems pinguecula pterygium and bloodshot eyes.
Information on the relationship between UV light, laptops (LCD screens), and eye damage is often outdated and incorrect. Most disconcerting is the amount of misinformation being relayed by eye doctors who are unaware of the effect of UV light and the damage it causes to the eye, particularily pinguecula and pterygium.
I've created pingueculae.com to provide information about eye disorders that isn't found anywhere else. Particularily pterygium and pinguecula, which are very similar - pterygium is more advanced and affects your vision (a growth into the cornea), whereas pinguecula does not affect your vision (growth only on the white part of the eye).
